Setting up Smarters IPTV is easy and works well on most devices. It is available for download in both the Play Store and iTunes Store. Alternatively some smart TV’s also have IPTV Smarters available but it is recommended for best results and full functionality of the service to use a Fire Stick or our personal favorite, the Nvidia Shield. After installing the app open the app and it will have a menu with two choices:
- Load Your Playlist or File/URL
- Login with Xstream Codes API
Next we want to add our account info. You can name the account anything you want. We suggest for our services either naming the account “Bold” or “Ultralight” according to the plan you have chosen. But you can name it “Unicorn” or “Fairy Dust” or whatever you can imagine!
After logging in you you will see the home screen with the following options:
- Live TV: Opens list of channel categories for your service.
- Movies: Opens list of categories for movies on demand offered by your service.
- Series: Opens list of categories for TV series on demand offered by your service.
- Install EPG: Opens a list of channel categories and then when a category is opened it will display with a classic TV guide interface.
- Record: Works with some devices and providers but not most.
- Catchup: Works with some providers but not most.
